Dr. Jordan has combined a wealth of experience and training in his work. He founded the Focus On Relationship ™ team to reflect his approach, which is that our relationships are powerful vehicles that provide opportunities for us to unfold and evolve spiritually, and to become more whole as human beings. Whether working with an individual, couple, or group, Dr. Jordan delivers a blend of rich life experience and extensive training in both clinical and spiritual teachings. His life experience includes a scientific/engineering background, extensive work on environmental issues, entrepreneurial experience through starting, building, and selling an environmental consulting firm, and extensive world travel.

His training includes numerous spiritual teachers and meditation practices, a two-year concentrated Masters program in Spiritual Psychology, Doctoral work focusing on integrative therapy approaches, advanced EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training, Shamanic practices, and several years of Jungian analysis. As a result, his treatment approach is very eclectic and integrative, incorporating transpersonal/spiritual, Gestalt, Jungian, EMDR, somatic (body-centered), cognitive behavioral, and basic coaching and problem solving.

Dr. Jordan works with people ranging from those seeking enlightenment to those in life crisis, troubled relationships, and workshop groups. The topics of his workshops and talks have included Thriving Relationships, Relationship Transformation, “Juicy Relationships,” Creating Inner Peace Through Mindfulness, Self-Esteem, Self-Awareness, and Life Purpose. He has also facilitated workshops for other healing professionals on the subjects of burnout and spirituality.

Dr. Jordan has written and lectured on the subject of how nature works in all things, including the corporate boardroom.
