She was one of four daughters.      Valerie had five children; three of them died before her death in January of 1997.      She has written thousands of poems, Christian writings, and she also wrote about her children that died before her.      Valerie loved to read as a child, and had a wonderful imagination.      She also wrote a 5 - Part series of Giraffe stories.
