About the Authors

Jan Donaldson is a published writer, wife, mother, and teacher who delights in teaching youngsters the joys of creative writing. She has lived in five states plus the Middle East and loves to travel but avoids beaten paths. Her husband is a retired soldier now in business and her son is a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jan and her husband live in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where they harbor a dog pound refugee named Yoda.

Linda Pendleton is a writer, jewelry artist, meditation teacher, and psychologist. Originally from Washington State, she began writing poems and short stories at the age of eleven and is currently working on a nonfiction book about pathways to emotional and spiritual abundance. She lives with her husband, Allen Mumper, and their two orange cats, Graham and Savannah, in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Gwen Holtsclaw has authored two books, numerous freelance articles, and has the proverbial novel in progress. An enthusiastic entrepreneur, Gwen is president of Cheer LTD., Inc., which she and her husband Tim founded in 1988. The North Carolina native finds inspiration for her poetry in the joys of her life; notably, husband Tim and her children Jamie and Scotti.
